Tangshan Ruifeng Iron & Steel Group Ltd. is a large integrated iron and steel corporation. Its main business is iron and steel making and it is diversifying into mining, trading, industrial investment, international shipping etc.. There are more than 4,000 employees working for Ruifeng Group with total fixed assets over RMB 2.3 billion. The annual crude steel productivity of Ruifeng Group is on the level of over 2.7 million tonne, the annual capacity of steel products is on the level of over 3 million tonne and annual consumption of iron ore is approx. 5 million tonne. In 2006, the annual revenue of Ruifeng Group is over RMB 8.9 billion and the amount of Tax Paid of Ruifeng is RMB 270 million.

Ruifeng Group is located in Fengnan District of Tangshan City in Hebei Province, the geographical center in the hinterland of Bohaisea Economic Circle in North China. Fengnan District is very close to Beijing and Tianjin. It has a favorable geographical position and is convenient in transportation. In Fengnan District, there are Jingha and Hanna railways linking South and North part of China, Jintang and Tanggang express ways and Jinyu highway across through the whole district. There are Qinhuangdao port and Jingtang port on the east of Fengnan District, and Tanggu port on the west of the district of the Northern main port (Tianjin port), and the deepwater port Caofeidian port on the south of the district. The convenient railway, highway and port together constitute the efficient transportation network in the district for distribution of all cargoes. Fengnan District is a perfect transportation hub for iron and steel business and manufacture.

Since establishment of Ruifeng Group, it has been awarded honors such as “Most Faithful Company for Repayment of Loan in 2003” from Bank of China Tangshan branch, ”Fengnan District Tangshan City’s Top 10 Steel Mills”, ”Hebei’s Top 100 Private-owned Enterprises”, “Hebei’s Top 100 Famous Enterprises” and “Advanced Enterprises of Production Safety in Fengnan District in 2004”. The products of Ruifeng have been awarded “Famous Brand Product of Hebei Province” and “Reliable Products of Hebei Province”. In the charts published by China Enterprise Association and China Entrepreneur Association in September 2007, Ruifeng Group ranks at 418 in “Chinese Top 500 Enterprises”, at 234 in “Chinese 500 Manufacturing Enterprises” and at 54 in “Chinese Steel Enterprises Charts”. Ruifeng has obtained ISO9001 international quality management system certificates and ISO14001 international environmental management system certificate in 2004. It has also obtained the provincial environmental friendly and clean production flow examination in Dec. 1st 2006. Now Ruifeng is the member of CISA (China Iron & Steel Association) and the executive member of Hebei Metallurgical Association. The company is one of the 112 companies licensed iron ore importers by CISA on the 2007.

At present, the main equipments of Ruifeng Group are one 600m3 B/F, two 450m3 B/F, two 210m3 B/F, two 144m2 sinter machines, three converters of 50 tons, two sets of oxygen-producing of 8000m3 , one set of oxygen-producing of 12000m3, two 650mm strip steel production lines and two shaft furnaces of 10m2. In manufacture of iron and steel products, Ruifeng achieves technics of coordinated equipment management for Hot Transferring, Hot Charging and Hot Rolling processes during the whole process of screening, sintering, iron-making, steel-making, steel-rolling, etc.. The main parts of production lines adopt PLC automatic control. It can track and inspect the width and the thickness of final products through optical technique and simultaneously display the information and adjust production lines automatically, which efficiently ensures the quality of products.

In the respect of purchasing resources, Ruifeng Group bases on the strategy of “Purchasing resources from both domestic and overseas markets”. Now Ruifeng have established good and close long-term strategic corporation with FMG group in Australia, Noble Group and PMC Group in Hong Kong, and Sinosteel Corporation and Sinochem International Corporation in mainland. Ruifeng purchases and imports iron ore fines and lumps from Australia, Brazil, India, Venezuela and Indonesia, which becomes the strong support for the sustainable development for its main business. In the respect of marketing, Ruifeng Group sells its final steel products in the market of over 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in North China, East China, South China and Central China and in the market which is far from China such as Vietnam, Indonesia, India, etc..
